Membership Application
The Institute of Canadian Agencies (ICA) is a registered non-profit, corporate membership organisation. To qualify for membership the applicant company must meet the following criteria:
- Is a company registered in Canada.
- It is a communications agency serving at least 3 clients.
- Is not owned or controlled by either an advertiser or one of the advertising media.
The application process is as follows:
- Complete this membership application form, which will be submitted in confidence to the ICA’s President & CEO.
- Review and return a signed copy of the form together with Code of Ethics, Practices, and Obligations (CEPO) of ICA Members. Both will be sent to you once the on-line application has been received.
- Once the application has been received and reviewed as compliant, membership approval is sought by vote of the ICA Board of Directors. The President & CEO will confirm all application details are in order and provide the board with the applicant agency name and website URL only in seeking approval.

When selecting the fee band, please note that *Net revenue, for the purposes of the ICA’s application process, is defined as agency billings minus client through costs, as detailed on the accounts of your most recently closed financial year.
