JANUARY 24, 2019 – 1-day Workshop
Empathy and experimentation. Inspiration and ideation. We’ve seen over and over again how well-implemented human-centered design thinking helps foster change and sparks innovation. For agency teams it’s now a vital and expected toolset, one that is instrumental in helping internal teams and clients become more creative, break out of their set ways and assumptions and reorient themselves towards new possibilities.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Participants gain new tools to go beyond brainstorming, embrace diversity of opinion and work new muscles in rapid prototyping. This is a hands-on primer to the process, tools and mindsets of Design Thinking. Working with a real life topic, deep dive into the art of Sensing, experiencing problems with greater curiosity and empathy to see the world differently, reframing challenges into powerful new territories.
- Explore and improve your interview and observation techniques to better understand customer motivations, broaden perspectives and keep people and their pain points at the core of insights and strategy
- Understand how to reframe problems, move beyond constraints and deploy different ideation techniques
- Develop a just-try-it mentality through rapid prototyping and iteration
- Empower others in your company to use design thinking to drive innovation.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Participants for this program are front-line and “in the work”: Titles may include Creative/Design Directors, Strategy/Insights/Research leads, User Experience.

While her career started in digital, she loves utilizing her background in Systems Analysis to solve probrlems using technology.
As a systems thinker with a background in human resources management, marketing and information systems, Erin is a powerful blend of tactical executionist and visionary team leader. Drawing from over 15 years in the digital agency and consulting space where she led teams of 25+ geographically dispersed and dynamic individuals who collectively supported fast-paced international client teams, the convergence of Erin’s passions and skills comes together at THNK, where she leads global corporate partners towards a new business future for impact.
Through meaningful, replicable approaches, Erin blends creative leadership development methodologies with breakthrough innovation tools.
