Effie Canada, ahead of its inaugural awards night, has announced a spectacular line-up of judges for the ‘best of the best’ submissions.
The Effie Canada awards have been judged thoroughly across three cities and the Grand Prix jury takes this scrutiny to new levels.
Deciding on the winners of categories including “Sustained Success”, “Healthcare”, “Youth Marketing” and “Retail” is a team of judges led by Chair Brent Nelsen, the Chief Strategy Officer of Leo Burnett.
Nelsen is joined by senior people from the agency and client worlds. David Allard, the Chief Marketing Officer of Samsung and Dom Caruso, the President and CEO of BBDO, are on the jury.
Also on judging panel are Matt Hassell. National Chief Creative Officer Forsman & Bodenfors; Melanie Hollingsworth, Director, Consumer Insights and Analytics, Canopy Growth; Kevin Johnston, CEO, MediaCom; Alison Leung, Vice President Marketing, WW (Weightwatchers); Andrew Saunders, Chief Revenue Officer, The Globe & Mail; and Matt Schoom-Kirsch, Chief Operating Officer, TAXI.
The Effie Canada awards, including the Grand Prix categories, will be presented at the Gala Dinner on June 6th.
