TORONTO, ON – April 15, 2019 ... The Institute of Canadian Agencies (ICA), a non-profit association representing Canada’s advertising, marketing, media, & public relations agencies today announced a partnership agreement with vetted talent community COMMUNO.

As businesses globally wrestle with the changing needs and expectations of what the best of talent is looking for, the ICA is actively searching out those agitators and connectors that offer something brilliant for the agency sector,

said Leah Power, EVP, Agency Operations for the ICA.

Communo allows agencies to quickly access highly specialized and vetted talent across all agency disciplines, so the synergy between our organizations was obvious

In addition to an innovative HR tool, the ICA and Communo will collaborate to provide agencies the training to transform their business strategies and operations. The partnership will see Communo setting aside some of its own profit to support the ICA’s Training Unlimited.

Agencies are facing a range of new pressures in their business models; from vanishing long term retainers to new types of competitors entering the landscape. We are passionate about this because we know first hand the challenges agencies face. We provide an effective path forward
