The ICA Campaigns For Canada by Joining Canadian Chamber of Commerce

The ICA has joined the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. In joining, the ICA will work with the Chamber on many new initiatives including:

  • Leveraging the collective voice of the Canadian advertising, marketing, media & public relations agency sectors to gain more recognition from the federal government on key issues such as better tax incentives, support for talent development & other measures aimed at growth.
  • Connecting with other business sectors in driving Canada’s economic growth.
  • Diversity & Inclusion in Canadian business.
  • Working with other business sectors to promote the brand of ‘Canada.’

“It is high time that the Canadian agency sector has a seat at the table & better recognition from the federal government on the key issues & concerns of our members,”

said Scott Knox, President & CEO of the ICA. 

“Canada’s agency sector is a major force in the economy, for every $1 spent in advertising & marketing, $6 is returned to Canada’s GDP. Through the Chamber of Commerce, the federal government & other business sectors can expect to hear a lot more from us.”
