Effie Awards Canada 2025 Call for Entries opens January 6, 2025.
All entry materials, categories, eligibility rules, resources, and link to the entry portal, are found on the dedicated Effie Awards Canada website:
Entry fees are locked in based on the date an entry is submitted. All materials required to complete an entry must be submitted by the indicated deadline in order to receive the associated rate.
Deadlines (and their associated fees) do not “close” until 9:00 AM ET on the morning following the date listed.
All marketing efforts that ran in Canada between September 1, 2023, and December 31, 2024, are eligible to enter the 2025 competition.
Any and all marketing efforts, whether full campaigns or targeted contributing efforts within a campaign are eligible to enter the competition. You may submit any one or any multiple combinations of mediums – any examples of work that demonstrate how you tackled your objectives. You must detail the “why” behind the strategy and provide proof that your work achieved significant results.
The work being evaluated by the judges must fall within this eligibility period. Elements of the work may have been introduced earlier and may have continued after the eligibility period, but the work entered must have run in the qualifying time from 9/1/2023 – 12/31/2024.
Results prior to the eligibility time period that help provide context for judges to assess the significance of results achieved within the eligibility time period are fine to submit. Results that fall after the end of the eligibility period that are directly tied to the work that ran in the eligibility timing are also fine to submit. No work after the cut-off to the eligibility period can be submitted. All results must be isolated to Canada.
For reference, review the full Eligibility rules in the 2025 Entry Kit.
Effie entries are judged by some of the brightest and most experienced business leaders. We draw on their experience to not only judge the work of their peers but to highlight learning for the industry overall.
